SERPCLIX vs. Web Traffic - Who's Better?

We examined two systems with different concepts that work on one of the interesting segments in website promotion – website traffic.

These systems operate on the premise that surfers’ traffic to sites (in its various characteristics) is a significant promoting factor in Google’s algorithm, and that it has an effect on the ranking of the results in Google.

General Info

Google’s search engine algorithm performs an in-depth analysis of various characteristics of websites to ultimately reach one significant decision:

What is the most relevant site in response to any search term?

To answer this question, Google’s algorithm examines many parameters and calculates a relevance score of sorts. Among the parameters that are thoroughly scanned by Google are:

Content – Possibly the most important and significant factor influencing the ranking of a particular page on a site in the search results for a keyword phrase. Google analyzes the content that appears on the site’s pages in a very thorough manner, with an emphasis on special components such as the page title, description, internal titles that appear on the page, the scope and focus of the content, the density of its keywords and more. Images, of course, are also part of the content and these too need to be optimized.

Links – Google attaches great importance to links that lead to the site in general and particular pages on it in particular. Link building is an integral part of ongoing SEO activity. The good news for Google is that the quality of the links is much more important than the number of links

Technical aspects – such as site loading rate, site responsiveness, etc.

Surfer behavior – SERPCLIX and REVIEWZERZ’s tools are based on the assumption that surfer behavior is a significant factor in ranking a site, or a particular page on the site, in the search results ranking:

  • Does a surfer who arrives at the site after performing a Google search stay there for a long time?
  • Did they stay on the site and browse it for internal pages? Maybe also made a transaction or purchase?
  • Did the user return (click the “Back” button in the browser) to the results page? Did they then go from the results page into another result where they stayed longer? (Behavior that clearly demonstrates a higher relevance)

We will review here two different services whose purpose is to perform manipulation exactly on this section of surfers’ behavior on the site or on the way to it:

SerpClix

SerpClix serves as an intermediary between companies that want to promote their websites by influencing the click-through rate on a search result versus the exposure to it.

This index is called CTR (Click Through Rate). SERPCLIX achieves the desired goal by utilizing an array of surfers from around the world who browse according to browsing patterns that SERPCLIX’s customers define as to which search terms to type and which of Google’s results to click on.
